## 6. Training methods

The following training methods are used:

- practical demonstration of work methods by the trainer;
- step-by-step completion of tasks by learners;
- work with materials, tools and samples;
- individual and group-based practical work;
- analysis of typical errors;
- practical tasks on a training stand or in a training workshop;

## 7. Training environment and materials

The theoretical part of the training takes place in Tallinn. Classrooms are equipped for a high-quality learning process, and learners have access to rest and coffee-break areas.

Practical training takes place in prepared locations where learners can apply their theoretical knowledge on dedicated training stands or under practical working conditions.

If practical training takes place on an active construction site, the required documents and access passes are arranged in accordance with current requirements. Workwear and personal protective equipment are provided when needed.

During practical classes, the trainer demonstrates work methods, learners practise the skills, and completed work is checked and assessed.

Note-taking is encouraged during training. Learning materials are provided free of charge. Photography and video or audio recording are permitted only with the trainer's prior approval.

Practical training uses:

- a training workshop or practical room suitable for construction and finishing work;
- training stands or structures for installing drywall boards;
- different types of drywall boards;
- metal and timber profiles;
- screws, plugs and other fasteners;
- joint tapes, corner profiles and filling materials;
- hand and power tools;
- measuring tools;
- personal protective equipment;
- cleaning materials and supplies for safe workplace organisation.

### 8.3. Final practical work

The learner completes a practical task that includes:

- preparing the workplace;
- marking and measurement;
- installing a simple metal or timber frame;
- cutting and fixing a drywall board;
- finishing a corner or simple detail;
- reinforcing and filling joints;
- checking the quality of completed work.

## 9. Course completion document

A certificate is issued when the learner has met all completion requirements: attended at least 75% of classes, completed practical tasks, passed the required tests and successfully completed the final practical work.

A statement of attendance is issued if the learner participated in the training but did not achieve all learning outcomes or complete the final practical work. It records the volume attended and is not issued when attendance was below half of the contact hours.

## 10. Opportunities to apply acquired skills

After completing the course, the learner can apply the acquired skills:

- in construction, renovation and finishing companies;
- as an assistant to a finisher, painter, plasterer or interior-finishing specialist;
